Bury the Hatchet
This drink is basically a riff on an Old Fashioned. I came up with it for a brand collaboration with Grander Rum. Grander is aged in ex-bourbon barrels, so it has a nice aromatic hint of bourbon, which makes it perfect for a cocktail like this!
ingredients:
1 1/2 oz aged rum
1/2 oz Alpine liqueur
1 tsp Demerara syrup
1 dash aromatic bitters
2 dash chocolate bitters
Garnish: Orange peel & rosemary
instructions:
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and stir with ice. Strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube. Slap a sprig of rosemary on your hand then drop into drink. Gently express an orange peel over the top before adding it to the cocktail.
